Nelson Musepa The Navigators, Zambia Nelson Musipa was born and raised in Lusaka, Zambia, and met Christ in 1991 during a church service. He met The Navigators in 1994 as a student at the University of Zambia in Lusaka. That same year he started dating Immidy who was working as a technician for a telephone company and had met Christ while in high school in 1990 through Scripture Union. Nelson graduated with a degree in Mining Engineering in 1998 and two weeks later got married to Immidy. A month later they signed up for a two-year program with The Navigators. Immidy continued to work and the plan was that upon completion of this training program, Nelson would join a mining firm and work as  a mining engineer – but God had other plans. The Musipas felt God's call upon their lives to continue working with The Navigators in Lusaka, where they ministered to students at the University of Zambia. Nelson is now serving as the National Director for Zambia while Immidy is now a stay home mother after she was laid off her job as a technician in 2010 following the privatization of the company she was working for.  They have four lovely daughters Rumbi (11), Rudo (9), Ruth (6) and Tatenda (3) and they still live in Lusaka.
